Congratulations to our Infinity Warriors at the 2022 Australian National Championships in Bendigo, we have 4 athletes played at the Championship (Kishen, Yee-Yuan, Kaitlyn & Athi). Yee-Yuan who are part of National Junior Falcon program, together with Kaitlyn and Athi (Senior Falcon) have successfully accomplished their campaigns with winning Gold and Silver in the National team championships representing VIC State Teams (Strikers won Gold in Division 2 and Smashers won Silver in Division 1).
In the individual Championships, Athi took out the plate Men’s Singles and Kaitlyn clinched Gold with Gronya Somerville (2022 Olympian) in the Ladies Doubles. Kaitlyn also won Bronze in Ladies singles and Mixed doubles with Ashwant Gobinathan, in which train with Lenny as well from young & good friends/mentor/helpers for all.
Kaitlyn & Athi have both represented Australia at World Junior Championship, coming up to Senior, they are hoping to qualify for 2022 AUS Commonwealth Games team in Birmingham plus Thomas & Uber Cup teams which is going to be held in Thailand this year.
At Infinity we are extremely proud and excited to see growth in their badminton journey. We hope to inspire the next generation of Infinity Warriors to be the best they can be and potentially pursue their dreams to be the next Olympians!
